Kwelanga Country Retreat is situated on the coastal highland near George, providing sweeping views across the Indian Ocean. Accommodation is provided in large family cabins, perfect for couples with children or travelling groups. These cabins consist of a double bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchenette and a separate lounge area with sleeping couch and TV. All chalets boast their own private deck with stunning sea view, are fully air-conditioned, fully supplied with all linen and towels and serviced on a daily basis. Just a stone’s throw from the cabins, the restaurant has a large open deck area which overlooks the same bay region where Bartholomew Dias made his cautious landing in 1488. On the deck, some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world can often be seen. Guests enjoy sitting next to a crackling bonfire and sipping sundowners before dinner.
